Schedule full network scans by IP range and set critical servers to scan hourly, or use active scanning and enable active directory to keep your inventory up to date. A wide range of computer details are scanned on Windows computers. Hardware, software, event logs, Windows updates, and product keys are just some of the items you can find in your inventory.

Scan offsite computers

Lansweeper allows you to scan off-site computers that are not part of your network. An agent-based scanning method is included that retrieves full, local inventory of client computers. Uploading scanned information to the Lansweeper database can be done manually, by e-mail or automatically via a direct connection to the server. 
Agent-based scanning is ideal when employees frequently travel or have high-security devices in their inventory.
