ViewCompanion is a feature-rich and easy-to-use application for viewing, printing, annotating , and converting a wide variety of file formats, including Adobe PDF, Autodesk DWF, PLT, CGM, TIFF, Calcomp, CALS, JPEG, and PNG. ViewCompanion allows you to quickly and accurately view files. You have full control to zoom and pan with your mouse and keyboard. You'll also find advanced viewing features like magnifier, review window, compare, rotate, and mirror. You can switch between monochrome, color, and grayscale viewing modes.

Markup and Annotation
With ViewCompanion Pro you can add tags to a loaded file, a process also commonly known as annotating . Supported annotation elements include stamps, text, symbols, dimension lines, area measurements, rectangles, circles, lines, polygons, arrows, and images. You can use one of the predefined stamps or create your own. Symbol libraries
User-defined symbols make it easy to add frequently used symbols as tags. All markup elements are stored in a separate file and the original file is not modified. The user can control whether the tag should be included or not when printing or converting the file.

Measurement and Start
With ViewCompanion you can make accurate distance and area measurements using the geometry drawing tool. Calibration of measurement tools is available to ensure correct results even if drawings are not to scale. Measurement tools can be used to take quantity take -offs and measurements , and the results can be exported to Excel, for example.
